Questions
How does the free trial work?+
You get 7 days with every feature unlocked. We ask for a card at signup so the subscription can continue seamlessly, but you aren't charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then — from inside the app or your billing portal — and nothing is taken. Stripe emails you before the trial ends, so it won't be a surprise.
Is my footage uploaded anywhere?+
No. Every bit of processing, from importing to previewing to exporting, happens on your computer using bundled ffmpeg. The app only ever talks to our servers to check for updates and to validate your license.
What's the difference between the monthly and yearly plans?+
Only the billing interval. There is no free tier, no pro tier, and no feature gating — both plans unlock the entire editor on up to 3 devices. Yearly just costs less: $45 against $60 if you paid monthly for twelve months.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. After activation the app keeps working offline for 30 days before it needs to check in again. Past that it will ask you to reconnect, but you can always still export projects you have already made.
What happens if I cancel?+
You keep full access until the end of the year you paid for. After that, editing is disabled but exporting your existing projects always keeps working. Your work is never held hostage.
Which platforms are supported?+
Windows. Linux is not planned.
