Multi-track timeline

Smooth scrubbing
Low-res proxies are generated in the background so playback stays responsive, while exports always read your original footage.
Clip controls
Scale, position, rotation, crop, opacity, volume, and speed from 0.25x to 4x.
Text overlays
Bundled open-licensed fonts with size, color, stroke, position, and in/out timing.
Audio that behaves
Volume envelopes, fade in and out, mute, and detach audio from video when you need it separate.
Hardware-accelerated export
1080p and 720p at 30 or 60fps, H.264 + AAC. Uses NVENC, AMF, QuickSync, or VideoToolbox when available.

Questions
Is my footage uploaded anywhere?+
No. Every bit of processing, from importing to previewing to exporting, happens on your computer using bundled ffmpeg. The app only ever talks to our servers to check for updates and to validate your license.
What do I get for $5 a year?+
Everything. There is no free tier, no pro tier, and no feature gating. One price unlocks the whole editor, and your license works on up to 3 devices.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. After activation the app keeps working offline for 30 days before it needs to check in again. Past that it will ask you to reconnect, but you can always still export projects you have already made.
What happens if I cancel?+
You keep full access until the end of the year you paid for. After that, editing is disabled but exporting your existing projects always keeps working. Your work is never held hostage.
Which platforms are supported?+
Windows first, with macOS following. Linux is not planned.
