Refund Policy

SimpleCut costs $45/year or $5/month. We would rather refund you than have you feel stuck with software that doesn't work for you.

During the free trial

Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, and nothing is charged during it. Cancel before the trial ends and there is no payment to refund. That is the cleanest way to decide whether SimpleCut is for you, so please use it.

14-day refunds, no interrogation

Ask within 14 days of a charge, on either plan, and we will refund it in full. You don't need to explain why. Email support@simplecut.app from the address you purchased with, and we'll process it — refunds usually appear in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Once refunded, your license is deactivated and the Software stops working on your devices.

Renewals

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period. The same 14-day window applies to renewal charges: if a renewal caught you by surprise, tell us within 14 days and we'll refund it and cancel the subscription.

To avoid renewing in the first place, cancel from within the app under Manage subscription, or from the billing portal link in your license email. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.

After 14 days

We don't offer partial or prorated refunds for the remainder of a billing period once the 14 days have passed. You keep full access until that period ends. If something has genuinely gone wrong — the app won't run on your machine, or a bug is blocking your work — contact us anyway. We'll either fix it or refund you.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. The policy above mirrors that right and extends it to every customer, wherever you live. Nothing here replaces or limits your statutory rights, or any other consumer protection you have under the law where you live.
